team finances
Hi.
I'm trying to better understand my team finances. Right now, I am unable to sign any free agents. Available money for FAs is -$12 million while I am $11 under the salary cap. The $12 million figure seems to come from Available Funds Calc. It has the same figure in it's calculations. the difference seems to be caused by Proj. Budget Room minus Offered Contracts. I do have four unsigned RFAs that want outrageous contracts. Are they causing this? Is the simple answer trading their rights to free up this money? This is mostly handcuffing me from signing my prospects. There are two or three that I'd like to be playing on my club and a few others I'd like to be on the Farm. Thanks ahead for any insight. |

Sorry, I just now found another thread on this issue too. I'm glad I'm not alone but disappointed that the game becomes very difficult too soon.
Is there a tutorial that explains what the items in the Finances mean? This would be very helpful to uncover the problem and to better understand the game. After all, this is actually a finances game and not really a sports game (IMO). Having this information would be very helpful. |

Although I haven't seen a direct confirmation from the devs on this, the general consensus I have seen on the boards is that this is a bug in the financial calculations which hopefully will be addressed in the next major patch.

Or possibly earlier. We've been working on it.
