Association and playoff questions

I'm trying to set up my fictional world, but there's a couple things I'm not able to find/figure out:

1) In at least one of my leagues, which has 2 leagues of 8 teams each, I want three playoff teams per league (where the 2 and 3 seeded teams play a short series and the winner plays the 1 seed, then the league champions meet.)

2) For a league association, is it possible to "select qualifying teams individually by position" for one league and have just the league champion (regardless of where they finish in the regular season) of another league qualify?

Edit: Never mind number three, I just saw the check box "enable shared amateur and inaugural draft."

3) Is it possible to have a league association (for playoffs and/or rules purposes) but have them use separate draft pools? I don't want a league in Asia and a league in USA drafting from the same pool.

1. Doable with custom playoffs. 1st place team and two wild cards per subleague.
2. Not that I'm aware of.

For #2:

although you cannot select "by position" for one league and "league champs" for another, what you can do is choose the "individually by position" option and the put the exact teams you want the same day your league champs are decided.
The game will not generate the association playoffs until you finish the day of the final leagues last playoff game. That is the only work around I can think of
