I would check your Manager Notes first and see if anything exists on there about Jim Jones and just delete it.

There is a PbP issue with a ground ball to first where the filter "Takes it to the base unassisted" and then it says "{player} made a perfect throw to nail the runner."

when starting a historic league, prior year postseason stats (aka the "real" ones) seem to have the incorrect # of games played for many players (far less GP than real life). All the other stats seem to be correct though.

Database Names Checked Working Backwards From Present Day, I Take It?
This isn't a typo, per se, but it's pretty annoying to keep seeing "Pete Rose Sr.", "Mel Stottlemyre Sr." and so on, when obviously nobody referred to these players as such when they were active. The original Ken Griffey and Tony Gwynn and so forth should be properly referred to as such, and let their spawn carry around the "Jr." suffix (which Griffey Jr. wore quite proudly, of course), rather than retro-encumbering the originals.
Weirdly, Lew Krausse Jr. is listed as such. But I don't know how many correct exceptions there are to the rule in the database. All I know is that seeing "Pete Rose Sr" in the leader boards is even more annoying than seeing Rose, himself. (Also, presumably due to this screw-up, the AI wants "Rose Sr" to wear uniform #60 instead of his #14.) And then there's the case of the Ross Grimsleys, where Ross Jr. was never referred to as such during his career, at least not that I can remember. (Presumably because his dad was such a non-entity that many had forgotten his career.) But calling Ross Sr "Ross Sr" is silly; I doubt that if you dug up game stories from 1953 or whenever, there would be any such reference to Grimsley. He would simply be called "Grimsley", no doubt. Thanks in advance. |

Top 100 Prospect Status Wrong
Setting: Top Prospect List: Dynamic
The game seems to look for the last time the player was ranked in the top 100, regardless of time: Example #1: Mann 'is' the #14 prospect according this news article from September 2021, but that was actually back in 2020, he was 3rd in the Rookie of the Year Award since then Example #2, different savegame: Trade that happened July 22nd, 2014 Khris Davis got as note: #38 prospect, but that was one year ago.

Struck-out to win the game...
The actual deciding play was a 2-run HR but the text refers to being struck out.

This doesn't make sense at all ...
"The game hung in the balance with no one out in the top of the eighth. The score was 2-1, Palatines. But Göteborg had the bases empty. The Palatines needed an out. Kjell Nissen stepped into the box with a chance to deliver. Instead he struck out."
