Reporting in to say that this fix worked for me as well.

Thanks, all.

Red face

I can't get this to work.

It seems like the app file is truncating the third line.

Quote:
It should read;
my_browser_exe
D:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
my_browser_cmd -new
See this screen cap.

What am I missing here?

I have implemented the app file changes and it now pops up a new window but it does not display the Minor League System Report just my default homepage.

Before I made the app file changes as Nutlaw suggested nothing happened when "Open in external browers" was clicked.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I added the recommended lines to my config file, but when I attempt to load anything in my browser, I just get my default page, which is a blank one. Clearly this is still a problem with OOTP9, including the final patch. Has this been corrected in OOTP10?

For the Firefox browser, the command line parameter is different. You need to add the following settings to the config/app file:

Code:

my_browser_exe
   C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
my_browser_cmd
   -new-window

i had this problem too

sure enough, the ootp board has the solution to everything! I'm using OOTP 11 and recently upgraded my browser to firefox 4 and set that as my default browser. After creating a new league, I found that the open in external browser button wasn't working with anything! I added the :
my_browser_exe
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
my_browser_cmd
-new

to the app.cfg file and it now works (even in OOTP 11)! Thanks from a long time player!

On the corpse. My question is...
No, my question. I get to go first. Why in pluperfect hell would you pee on corpse?
