Lost franchise :(

I had a season and a half into a Brewer save and downloaded the most recent update. Now when I access the game it says there are no recent franchises to access. Am I truly SOL? I'm on a MAC

Have you looked in the saved game folder? That way you know if the files are there or not

Any tips on how to do that on a MAC? Sorry I am disabled and have some technical issues understanding some of this.

But hopefully someone will come along and tell you where it's at bc there may be ways to fix it. I have a couple ideas so I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if another Mac user can get us to your files

Hopefully for sure. Worst case scenario is I start over again which isn't the end of the world but I made so many prospect trades that I'd prefer not to have to. Thanks for taking the time.

Great! Have fun once you get your save back and running... Hopefully you lose the division to the Cards but other than that good luck! Lol sorry life long Cards fan here

Ugh, I wish it was that easy. It's not there at all. Might just have to restart it all I guess. Unless i'm just missing something.

Re-install the update. I did this today and accidentally clicked off the default installation and when it came up, my save game was gone. I went back and re-did the install and made sure it was on default, and everything was back to normal.

What do you mean by the default installation? On Mac I don't see any of that. I just download the file, then drag it to the applications folder.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. I used to play on a Mac and forgot that it was not like that.

If you got the saved game folder and it was not there, then I am not sure.

I think I ****ed something up when I installed the update originally earlier today, although not exactly sure what. No trace of it there. Well thanks for trying everyone. Might just start a new kind of game I guess.

Did you read the link above? Looks like the save folder is just in a different spot then the game thinks it is and you just have to redirect it.

I read the post above. However I really can't locate it. Someone referenced "Containers" and I don't see that but might not be looking the right place. I also tried searching for the name of the franchise with no luck either.

Holy **** I figured it out. That article was right. I just didn't understand at first and wasn't searching early enough in the tree. Thanks for being patient with me everyone. The save is back.
