Draft Hometown Errors
I have noticed that when scouting players for the MLB draft that the majority of high school players go to a school that is not in the same state that they were born. I understand that some players would move; however, I would say over 90% of players attend a high school outside of their home state. College would be different, but it seems that the high school assigned is completely random. Please fix in a future update.

It's probably the other way around, in that player birthplaces are screwed up. Several versions ago, a change was made to the default world.dat file that caused the game to not be able to properly handle cities with the same name in different states. Thus, for instance, every player that was born in a city named Pasadena will show as being from Pasadena, Texas instead of Pasadena, California or Pasadena, Florida or whatever. I do not know why it hasn't been fixed, but it has vexed me for years.
Hey, Spritze, can we have a macro for this response please? Last edited by dewelar; 03-26-2020 at 10:25 AM. |
