Relax children! There are a lot of entertaining elements to this thread. The fact that we had a pattern of coked up degenerates emerge just added to the fun. Come on just smile and go with it!

Oh for effs sake! Here's some more pictures to get this thread back on track:

Jim Bunning - another Cincinnati native, Hall of Famer, US Senator, and belonged to Highland CC in Ft Thomas, Ky - just like my family

Ken Boyer - not only wore #14, but wore it for 14 seasons...

Larry Doby - Hall of Famer, integrated the American League. Not just the second black major leaguer, but also the second black MLB manager

Gene Woodling - I included him because I went to school with his grandson

You derise the iconic players of my favorite team like that and expect me to laugh along? **** no.

Time for another round of ignore list additions.

Look, I'm not trying to censor anyone, but really, could we just focus here and try not to take a dump on each other's lawns.
I agree!

Since BigRed75 put this player in a Cardinals uniform, I will put him in his Mets uniform.

Fair enough, he did play for the Mets, but the photo I posted was Boyer in a Cards uniform...

Yeah, let's remember ALL of us aren't perfect human beings and I'm sure we all have things in our lives we're not proud of.

Judge lest not ye be judged.

An average player that the Mets had.
But the New York ladies loved him and wanted to have his baby!

From what I heard Mazz was everybody's favorite Met, mainly because he was one of the very, very few Mets even vaguely good around 1980 or so.

He may have worn No. 2 in his second stint with the club in the late 90s, but when he first arrived on the scene in Cincinnati, his preferred No. 21 wasn't available, so he had to improvise:

That's right, Prime wore No. 12 for the Reds immediately after the trade that brought him over from Atlanta.

One of the worst swings in baseball but a clubhouse leader and he helped guide the franchise in their early years.
His swing had a hockey, golf and baseball look and would have given the analysts of today nightmares.
The pic of him on the left must have been him warming up pre game.

Can we agree to always at least include the name of the guy depicted? Not all of us watched baseball in 1974 ...

I'll give an example!

Ron Darling, who wore various numbers for the Metsies, including #12, and who's been a color commentator for even longer now than he pitched for the Mets ...!
