Salary cap question
Im playing a fictional league with a salary cap of 75mill with a cap hit of 54 mill so I should have 20 mill for FA signings but it says a have a 71 mill player payroll. Every player I have signed has the same number at cap hit and salary,so why isnt my player payroll 54 mill?

Do you have minor leaguers? Their pay counts towards the payroll budget, but not cap hit.

Your budget isn't always going to jibe with the payroll when it comes to funds available.
As you play the season, and have home games where you hopefully make some money, you get more available cash to spend on players. What does your financial page say for cash on hand? That's usually the limit when it comes to signing players, regardless of budget space. |

Can you post a screenshot of your roster screen with it on the "Contracts" view? I may be able to figure out what's going on from that.

The contract values in that shot add up to about $71 million. Unless the cap hits are significantly different from the salaries (check the Salary Obligations screen under the team menu and switch between salary and cap hit views), that looks OK.

ok they are the same in both views,I guess I just got confused because in the Finances screen it says Cap hit is 56 mill, but in the salary obligations screen it says 72.ok so alls well then ,thanks for the clarification.
