White and African-American name sets

Is there any interest in two separate name sets for these? I was in the thread about a mod with states as countries for state-specific leagues, and was thinking that if I was assigning name sets based on census data this would be useful. Thoughts?

I would think only seperate first name sets would be necessary, as white and black Americans use pretty much the same last names (Yes, I have known African-Americans with last names like Van Pelt, Garcia, Giovanni, Pappas, Eichenberger [really ], etc.)

This topic comes up every version. It usually generates some contentious discussion, and then no one ever actually does it.

True, I've seen some of that discussion before. A lot of it was just ridiculous. Just figured I'd give it another shot.

When two ethnic groups share the same last name set, there is no REASON to have seperate first name sets....

If you're worried about the ratio, just alter the frequencies....

Seems silly on either count. Especially these days where wacky names are just as common in rural areas as they are in cities.
