Man this thread is one of the funniest things I've read in a while.

Just found a Brazilian named Liberaratore Agueda. Try saying his first name 10 times fast

After saying it three times, it summoned Beetlejuice's drinking buddy.

I need another excorcism.

How about old Rouglas Odor that was in the Indians organization.

I blew soda through my nose the first time I heard his name announced at an Eastern League game.

BTW, the "Nobody" was actually a bug. There shouldn't be players with that name.

It's been fixed in patch 1.

The only (minor) issue I have seen with the names is that it doesn't restrict the naming of new rookies to the names file. It also uses existing player names. So, for example, in our league we allow each team to create a player. The created player's last name is preceded by an asterisk so they stand out in the list. Their last names are not in my names file, but one of the new rookies has the same last name as one of the create-a-players (including the asterisk).

It also includes variations on these names by dropping the letters it sees fit. For instance "Solonor" is replaced with "Solono" or "Solo" or "Solon." However, I posted about this last night. According to Battists in the thread I posted in, this has been addressed in the patch.

By the way, as far as humurous name go, I'm using Cooley's 19th Century name files and he has several "unconventional" names in the file to mimic the names of that time period. Last night, one of the draftees was...Duck Waddle!

?

I don't think I meant that this issue has been fixed, it's the first I've read this one... Do you have a TT # for this incident? If not, please post a new thread about it in tech support...

I don't think that should happen.

I meant that the "Joe Nobody" problem had been resolved...

You think "Apple" is bad as a celebrity name???

Penn from Penn & Teller named his child Moxie Crimefighter.
The guy from "My Name is Earl" named his child Pilot Inspektor.
