Historical Sim - Started 1871 - Minors?

So I started in 1871 and have progressed to 1923 so far. At what point do I start adding minor leagues or will the sim auto do that? If so when should I start seeing them? If I remember right not all teams had minor leagues affiliations back then and i think is all or non as for setting them up.

minors should appear in 1919 automatically (actually they appear in the game by Nov 1918 and they come into play in the 1919 season.). You need to have the setting of "import & maintain real minor leagues" checked. That's in game settings>league settings>historical.

also if that's not checked, you won't be getting any historical minor leaguers, only players when they made it to the majors.

Ok, so I checked and yes I have that button checked. But in 1923 no major league teams seems to have a minor league. They have a active and reserve roster only.

something ain't right. if you have the box to import and maintain minors, they should be in your game in 1919 (Texas League only . Pitt and St. Louis are only teams to have affiliations that year.) in the next couple of years PCL and Negro leagues show up. (PCL only Cubs have affiliates and no Negro League team is affiliated.)

i don't know what's going on. Maybe someone else can help. Try to post something in the bugs tech support sub forum. They may need your files.

Ok i went through team by team..... I'm at 10-19-1923.

Below are the teams with minor league teams....
Chicago Cubs
- LA Angels AAA
- Witchita Falls Spudders AA
Detroit Tigers
- Fort Worth Panthers AA
Philadelphia Athletics
- Shreveport Gassers AA
St. Louis Cardinals
- Houston Buffaloes AA

So I guess I do have some.....

Looks about right - from what i can recall. When you get to mid 30's and late 40's you'll see between 30 and 50 minor leagues ...
