Promoting playoff champions

I like to do the pro/rel thing, but is there a way to adjust which teams get promoted? Let's say the three top teams get promoted to a higher league, but the fourth-place team wins the league playoffs. No promotion for you!

Yeah, I know it can be done manually, but I'd like an option where a playoff champion (regardless of regular-season finish) automatically gets a promotion spot...

I have bad news for you. Right now there is no option for automatically promoting other than winning percentage. And the bad thing is if you manually promote a team that wasn't supposed to be promoted or relegated the finances of the team that you took their place will be screwed up. Their payroll is carried over to the next year as a current charge from day 1 totally screwing their available money. In other words if Team A that was supposed to be promoted isn't and has a $100 million dollar payroll starting on the day you don't promote them their finances say they already spent $100 million in payroll even though it's still the offseason. Not good.

I submitted a bug report but it wasn't fixed in this new patch and honestly I wouldn't hold my breath. this totally scrapped any playoff determinations for pro/rel in my league so I just go by winning percentage now.
