Haven't had any injuries on this setting yet.
Mind you, only played a day

I’m moving it to “Very High” to see if that’ll make a difference. Obviously creating a backup first...

So...small sample size obviously since I moved to "Very High", but I've had more injuries...but almost all pitchers.
On top of that, one of those pitchers suffered career-ending...hamstring soreness? It is even termed on the player profile as Day-to-Day. I repeat: Something is not right and we need Markus & team to chime in. |

So I took a look through the current MLB injured list. Without doing an actual count, it looks like at least two thirds of those on the list are pitchers.

I want to reiterate that I am not as much concerned with the split as I am with the overall lack of injuries on the “High” setting.

Still no position player injuries. I’m into August at this point. Something is definitely wrong.

Just took a look at my latest save. As of 6/21/2019 The Rangers organization have 25 guys on the DL and 8 of them are position players. Have you double checked all your league settings to make sure something didn't get altered?

Yes—I’m so confused because for the first time ever, I moved injuries to “Very High”. Since moving to “Very High” (six or so game weeks), I’ve only had two injuries to my major league club needing DL stints. Both pitchers. Also for the record. I have fatigue on “High”. I’m considering also moving that to “Very High”.

If I'm understanding you correctly, this sounds like a case of jumping to conclusions based upon too small a sample size yet. Unless you are seeing something extreme league-wide. That's another story. And as Dyzalot said, might be something wonky with league settings. But it sounds like others are having pretty usual results in this area (I know I am- nothing at all seems out of the ordinary), so I think it is premature for you to conclude that "something is definitely wrong." At least with the game, with OOTP20. Something might be wrong, indeed, but it sounds like a localized problem to me. |
