Another new release out there....
Football Mogul 18 just released today. Not promoting another developers game, but just as in a previous thread, wanted to make my fellow OOTP'ers aware of this game. I've never purchased previous versions, and can't even remember trying the demo, but will download this demo and compare with Wolverine's football version. Update - the demo is the 2017 version, but still should give me a decent idea of what the game is like. You can play an entire season!

Only things thats turning me off so far is lack of 3D and can only go back to 1970. Would love to play as the Bears from the beginning.

Thanks for posting progen
I see that the 2014 version is free, so one can download it and play more than a season (for historical fans like myself that's great!) I only briefly tried things out last night...is there a 2D display? I didn't see one (I'm OK with no 3D graphics, but I'd strongly prefer a 2D display with "moving dots" over just text) |

I've tried that one before. Unless they made massive upgrades it isn't for me.

Yea, played the demo and not that interested. When draft time comes, if you're the 5th pick as an example, the first four zoom by, and then you're up. There's no "one at a time" so if you wanted to make a trade, it's too late. They do give you that option before the draft starts, but that to me loses the excitement of draft day trading.
I'm still working through Wolverine's version(Draft Day Sports), but am really so spoiled by OOTP, I just have to keep reminding myself, that this is still in it's infancy stage. Another patch or two would help! |

It is NOT Mac compatible. I ran their 2017 program with a Windows emulator within a separate file that worked Great. But Died after a FM update. After several attempts, gave up.
