3D is an option that seems to have killed many a previous developer's product in my opinion. I, for one, will be delighted with 2D and a superb franchise management and play calling system.

OOTP 14 has been great for me despite not having been a baseball fan at all (playing OOTP made me appreciate baseball a lot more, though).

I am excited for a good football game, too (especially if it offers the same fantasy flexibility that OOTP does). Now the only thing missing is a great basketball sim.

Thank you, thank you so very much! I've owned every OOTP since '06, and FHM, and although it makes me a terrible person, I've never felt the need to sign up to the forum and say something. But this news just cemented your place as my favourite developer ever.
Thank you.

Alright! I am unrolling my nap sack, and getting my place in line. All we need now is a OOTP Pro Wrestling sim! (Hey, wishful thinking never hurts!)

Choosing not to sign up does not make you a terrible person. However since you made the decision let me welcome you to the board. I hope you stick around. You may find more than a few new friends here.

Just a quick question, will you be having Beta Testers? if so, how will they be chosen?

We'll announce the details of the Beta testing program when the time comes, which will be about a year from now.

Also, I expect everyone who says they're going to camp out for the game to remain true to their word and set up tents outside Francis' residence next year.

Francis, I'll ask Markus if we have a crowd control budget.

Well, this is certainly interesting. I haven't pulled the trigger on purchasing the recently released new Front Office Football. I downloaded the demo...and honestly, didn't see anything that would make me want to purchase the new version of the game. Lack of customizable leagues that give you the option to replay history, or take the NFL in a different a-historical direction have always been drawbacks in my book. I'll definitely keep an eye on the development of this one...

Better yet, build in cross-game integration. Thus, while you are playing BTS, a couple of news stories pop up about the baseball team from OOTP that's in the same city as that football team.

and when you get the announcement that your 5 star SS prospect is quitting baseball for a football career, you will see him appear in BTS...

I've been on the sidelines (pun sort of intended) from the OOTP community and the game itself for quite some time. Having ALWAYS wanted a solid football sim (Football Mogul doesn't cut it for me), I'm in like Flynn on helping out with whatever you may need.

This is THE BEST announcement I have seen since they installed that bread slicer at the local store!

I want to alpha test, beta test all the way up to zeta test! Possibly even åäö test since the developers seem to be located in europe!

Wow. What a day. Petter Northugg annihilated by three Swedes (*) and then this announcement. If only I hadn't lost to myself in glb2 all would have been perfect. This announcement will keep me alive atleast to the draft and beyond. Although I fully expect the fact that the Panthers drafts Jarvis Landry to sustain me well into training camp.

rant over

/KS

(*) yeah, I know norway got the gold, but winning isn't important, it is Northugg not winning that matters!

Dual monitors would make it much more feasible. 😃

FHM is still kinda boring to play so I play just too get the results. A lot more going on with OOTP14 and I would expect the same with BTS.
