Don't get much better than the ISBL
If you want active then the ISBL is for you, if you want variety then the ISBL is for you. No joke, no lies the ISBL is one of the most active leagues in the OOTP world over 20,000 posts on our old message board and already over 2,000 on our new board. We have a strong core of GM’s that have been with the league for 2 years from the very first day it started, the league also offers a multi national feel to it with GM’s from the States, Canada, Germany, England and Australia even from Texas lol. Ok the league is real rosters and is in the year 2009 so still plenty of real MLB players, not only does the activity make this league stand out but also the variety it offers as we have a Winter Ball League for your rookies, a European League for some of your veterans, Prediction Competition, Stadium Construction, Hall of Fame which you get incentive points for voting in as you do with the Player Awards, GM of the Year Award and Owner of the Year Award also if your into articles then there’s an incentive point scheme for that and there’s also some new ideas in the pipeline which maybe used in the future.
Now onto the opening, the opening is for the Chicago Cubs. The Cubs at the moment are rebuilding but still have some good veterans on their roster with Victor Zambrano being their marquee player coming of a 2.41 15-4 season, they also have some good rookies coming through with Erik “Chopsticks” McGee and Mark Levy being the pick of the bunch. Not only will Zambrano, McGee and Levy interest you but the fact the Cubbies have 2 picks in the 1st round and 3 picks in the 3rd round of the up coming draft which will be with us shortly so you could be looking at 5 top class prospects joining the like of McGee and Levy in the minors. Now you know the league and the team you will be GM of if you join the ISBL, one pearl of wisdom if your thinking of joining I would hurry up as the longest a team as been open is 2 days so odds are they will be filled by the weekend at the very latest so not much time to get those applications in, so anyways hope to see you in the league soon and the link is below. http://www.eliteplayersleague.com/isbl/ |

Excellent league run by a top commish. Also some fun extras for those who like incentives to bolster a franchise!!
