Challenge mode question

At the end of a season in single player challenge mode we receive a final total season score. Is this score in any way affected by the number of games we play out with in-game achievement tracking enabled? Sometimes if I'm winning big or losing big I prefer to just quick play inning by inning but I do not want to do this if it may cause me to have a lower score. I know I will not get credit for the achievements but worried it may lower my final score if I did not make enough manual plays for achievements to be tracked. Thank you for any help as I have been asking a lot of questions today. I have all weekend to play and am trying to learn more.
