Actually agree with you on the Padres. The Cubs are another one I’m considering as the NL Central is brutal.

I don't control a team. I pick a game each day of the season to watch. 2D Classic. Sometimes I do fast sim April and May. Watch a game a day from June till the end of the season.

Play every game they don’t take very long and it’s fun that way with the 3D model

I play the first 5 games of the season to see my starters first game, then play when I move a rookie up or trade for someone and always play out any playoff/ws games.

The rest I sim and may pick a few other games if it's a tight race.

I've taken to playing the games in a fictional league after a decade of daily simming with MLB rebuilds or expansions.

My priority has always been long term organizational development, but I'm enjoying a different type of immersion into a customized universe.

I'm playing as the Padres right now, I'm 6-3 but some of my young arms are getting shelled. One of my wins was 12-11. My bullpen is already exhausted. The owner is still listed as a "penny pincher." I started 6-mil over budget so I have no money to improve the team.

Well, it depends on my mood. Sometimes I get the urge to sit down to a game and immerse myself in it. Sometimes I don't even have the energy to sit down for a simulation because I'm very tired from my day at work. So I won't be able to give an exact answer. Sometimes I don't even want to make myself dinner or make coffee to trade at night. With buying a new game, though, I think I'll be motivated to play. I found cheap keys for Fifa 22 on https://www.cdkeysforgames.com/games/steam-games/fifa-22/, so I want to try out the game on PC. I had a FIFA 21 game on my PS5 and played it a lot right after I bought it last year. This year a lot has changed, and I don't want to play on the PlayStation anymore.
