As far as Markus leaving OOTPB behind and concentrating on Perfect Team, he is just like you and he is just like me... bottom line, you do what is best for you... bottom line, I do what is best my me.

Life is not fair, my friends.

If OOTPB is left behind, which I don't think it will be, I still have OOTP19 to play... that is fine with me... it is a great game... and I will be eternally grateful to Markus for creating such a marvelous game.

BOTTOM LINE, Markus will do what is best for him.

I think he will work on both games.

I hope he makes a lot of money with Perfect Team and uses some of it to "perfect" OOTPB.

I can guarantee you that there are a LOT of great things we are working on for OOTP 20 that have nothing to do with Perfect Team. I can also guarantee you that there are a few planned features for the game that have nothing to do with Perfect Team that would not have been able to be created without the Perfect Team live service infrastructure too. I wish I could share details with you now but I love my job and don't want to lose it.

It's January; we're months from the release of OOTP 20 and many, many months removed from OOTP 19. Perfect Team is the easiest thing to talk about on the show right now because it's living and breathing every day. And people keep asking us to talk about it!

LOL.

watching EA almost completely ignore franchise mode after the introduction of MUT, I'll admit to being a little concerned.

Thanks Rich...

Really enjoying OOTP Now on my commute. Great stuff, particularly enjoyed the interview with Markus on an earlier podcast.

Thanks again!

Episode 10 is now live!

It's an extra-large episode this week, with two great segments. Up first, we have the newest member of the Out of the Park Developments team Scott Spindler join us to talk all about the great things he's going to do for Out of the Park Baseball 20 and beyond. Next, by popular demand, we have the audio from the live special Call To The Hall episode of This Week In Perfect Team, where the new cards were released for each of the players who newly entered baseball's Hall of Fame.

This week is the Steam Lunar Sale - and both Out of the Park Developments games are 75% off! From February 4 through February 11, get Out of the Park Baseball 19 for just $4.99 and Franchise Hockey Manager 5 for just $9.99.*

Ooh man. My one hope with PT was that it would spur the re-thinking and hosting of online Franchises. I usually get two or three of my friends to buy OOTP every year, and every year we try to play online together but fail because of the (to me/us, anyway) byzantine setup.

I feel the same frustration trying to set up an online game as I do trying to teach my dad how to use his new computer.

I really hope you guys have some great things in works for 20. MLB the Show is becoming a complete joke with it's laser focus on Diamond Dynasty and it's refusal to upgrade player models. I urge you guys to strike while the iron is hot and not become too enamored with your version of Diamond Dynasty. Real baseball fans are grumbling. If you guys can make a big splash this year, I think you can add a significant amount of customers/gamers who have had it with MLB the show.
