Preseason starts!!
No great moves in the first month from Aug to September 6th, mostly acquiring some of the free agent goalies LATEST UPDATE: This picture is now in a corrupt file... but the picture will remain for the look of it ..... In the newest Dynasty ... Grand Rapids was a pretty big mover and shaker.... making two pretty even trades, likely player style? I have added a new photo... why are they playing two games on the day??? UPDATE: Oh Oh!!! game is crashing when I try to advance passed sept 6th several, several time.. and i once tried to sim to Spet 15 in hopes of avoiding the date, but sure enough, it crashed on sept 6 Last edited by NolaSola7; 10-07-2015 at 03:43 AM. |

Seems to have something to do with the coaches... next patch might fix it ....
It was because I messed up*** I wanted all goalies not in the top tier league to be in free agency, so I could make them independantly of thinking what team had too many good goalies over the other..... In doing so, I made two crucial (crucial to the problem) mistakes..... 1) I chose 'none' instead of 'free' when making free agents... and 2) I did a random, automatic salary and this made the game have all these goalies unavailable with the rights as "none" instead of "free" ... and the game filled up the rosters with a bunch of generated goalies not in contract with the head club..... But things seem to be going forward.... I was told to make the goalies free agents... and I did that... I have run a few tests, and it seems to be okay again . ROCHESTER NEWS ....... perhaps witha young talent in the wait... the wait is being expediated ... trading a winger for a defender in Van Alen .... but perhaps not, because Boudreau is a bit of a center too.... should have looked at how they had the lines set up
EDITED: FAILED TO MENTION A TRADE THAT HAPPENED AT FIRST BLINK IN THE SEASON.... ROCHESTER GOT A DEFENSEMEN FROM SALT LAKE FOR A WINGER, COTTERMAN WAS ON THE FIRST TEAM, LACKO WAS IN THE MINORS... BOTH ARE IN THE MINORS NOW I think I have seen Cotterman get traded early in almost every test_run ..... Lacko is a nice prospect... but what is he worth when Jake Williams lingers about ???? Two wingers (Boudreau center?) are off the roster.... making way... are at least not worried about taking other pieces from the rich winger position... and btw, Rochester is rich at Winger Last edited by NolaSola7; 10-07-2015 at 05:00 AM. |

Here one can get a sense of how this Dynasty report will go...... if yall want more gametime information ... let me know ... let me know.. I take requests for information ... (my thinking is, it may be fun to look into things that I myself didn't think about... it will help my enjoyment as well, I feel)
BUT I mentioned in the edit above that Grand Rapids has been making the biggest deals... and we have some interesting things to share... In August, they made seemingly two rather equal moves a defender for a defender... The german Budowski, and expected to be in the first line on the blue line was traded for one of the leagues most intimidating personalities.. in James Sloat .. Sloat came from the Laval Les Caribous club On the very first advance, from Aug 15 to the 16th, they made a move with the London Jacks, for a defender by the name of Guy Martling. Jonathan Ford was sent to London. Both were 3 stars, but Ford has more upside. In another camp, HUGE news from Lake Ontario ... His career is in jeopardy at 24 years of age.... And it is only natural a that Grand Rapids moves in and makes a deal with the Tomahawks... yet another Defender for defender... so seemingly not because of the injury to Jenner, Lake Ontario's motives are not clear.. The player, Conroy, seems somewhat offensive inclined... so perhaps they did want a more defensive force in place of Jenner, and Conroy was not the defensive piece... and Lake Ontario does not lack offensive pieces in any place on the ice Grand Rapids have moved some pieces in their defense... and as it looks now, judging by the line ... it looks they have confidence in a young defender with tremendous upside in the Finn-born Valkonen ... to fill Budowski's spot... And it seems Sloat (Laval) and Conroy (Lake Ontario) .. were acquired to team up on the third line as two-way defencemen as the first two lines instill a more defensive approach to the position... |

Here's a look at the Grand Rapids blue liners..... The first three were acquire by trade .. Martling (London), Sloat (Laval), Conroy (Lake Ontario)
The next two Valkonen and Lagercrantz are the first line defenders Last edited by NolaSola7; 10-07-2015 at 05:01 AM. |

And here are the other europeans who are not in the big hockey elite (Czch,Russ,Swede,Slvk)
****** There are more of these nationalities, not much more, but more, but I only bothered with the ones who claim those countries first as if they would play for those country's national team, not the second Last edited by NolaSola7; 10-07-2015 at 03:36 PM. |
