Fictional league - inagural draft

I am having some problems with this. I am trying to follow the OOTP manual in setting this up. I have 16 Major League teams, with AAA, AA, A, and Rookie also each having 16 teams. I try to set the inaugural draft for 150 rounds, but for some reason it stops after 50 rounds.

Do I need to create more players, or what is causing this not to draft as I have set it up to run?

Check how many players are in the Draft Pool. There should be at least 2400. You may need to create more.

So creating extra fictional players - how do should you define Player Type:

Defines the general characteristics of the player. You can choose from four options:
•Established: Creates a player who is probably older, with current ratings closer to his potential ratings.
•Young & Slightly Established: Creates a young player, but not so young that he hasn't developed at all.
•Very young and raw: Creates a very young player, who has not developed much yet.
•Draft eligible prospect: Creates a new prospect with no experience at all.

And would these players automatically go to the Inaugural Draft?

They'd go to the Free Agent pool. Just reschedule the Inaugural Draft again and those players will go to the Draft pool. You can have fun with player creation, making a nice mix of all kinds of players.

I got all of my issues taken care of.

Next question - where can you view the inaugural draft results after the fact?

If you want the players you create to be eligible for the next draft, just select this option from the drop down when creating them.

No need to let them go to FA and reschedule your draft.

Got it! I did all of that and the draft went great.

We had another draft the same year, as the inaugural draft - 1st year player draft. I was wondering for historical purposes how to view the inaugural draft list.

Thanks!

Glad it worked for you.

Unfortunately, the inaugural draft record is not saved. It's been requested for a number of Versions now, but hasn't made the "To Add" list yet as far as I can tell.
