Please please please let us edit!

Maybe this is a symptom of my baseball sim OCD, but I just can't get into any of the historical seasons I've purchased. . .because of little things I want to fix or tweak.

Like:
Player ratings on players with less than full season
Team colors
Statistical norms

So one last plea before you guys wrap up discussion about the 2011 version: please let us edit, or make an editor app.

Please.

I would like to be able to edit the base stats that fictional leagues play to, or modern MLB leagues. One example would be creating a 60s or deadball style fictional league with low offense and strong pitching as the norm.

I know that is not the answer you want to hear but I can just bring it up at the Summer Meeting with Markus and Andreas. An Editor will take time to write and as we are just 3 (or better 1 1/2 for iOOTP) people here we have to plan carefully. But I promise we will look into it and discuss ways to edit more stuff in iOOTP.

I will add my last plea,

Let us add each teams ballpark picture. If not no big deal, but I would love to see it.

Either way this is a great game and I have put in more time with this game than any other IOS game.

I know there are limited resources and you guys have to make the most of what you have. No problem there--I am really thankful for what you have already accomplished--a quality baseball sim for the iPhone/iPad.

IF (and I hope it is a big IF

you all decide NOT to implement a comprehensive editor, or editing functions within the game itself, that perhaps you will make the file formats available within the community so that enterprising others could develop tools to do what you choose not to. . .
