[HELP] New Players Bugged - Online League

Hello,

I run an online league and every time a new player is generated, the other user managers/gms report that they do not show correctly. Every new player, whether from international scouting, or rookie draft etc. will show the name properly but when you hover/click the person it's often some retired old guy.

I am searching up and down for options for file upload options relating to new players that may fix this issue and I simply am not having any luck.

Can someone please help?

How old is the league?
DO you see the problem in your file or just your GMs?
Do you have "Delete Players who never reach majors" selected?

It sounds like you are having player number problems in your BD. I can think of 2 options off the top of my head, these are not in order of preference.
1) Purge tool. YOU MUST BACKUP if you use this. Look it up in the manual.
2) Have the GMs DL a fresh league file. Not an in game file but a full league file zipped from your server.
If the problem does not exist in your game file then they can change their game file names and DL an entire new file. The only headache is images because of how large they make the DL.

Hello,

Thanks for the response! We are in the first season, just completed the rookie draft.
My game file is working normal. Should be too soon for the purge tool right?
"Delete those who never reached Majors" has been checked from the beginning of the league.

I may have them redownload the game file...

Anyone have any other ideas for a quick fix?

No, I have had this problem as a GM in the past and a new full file was the best fix.
I do think you are too soon for Purge or too many retired players to be a problem.

So the new file worked. However, when I simmed ONE time after it reverted back to the exact same issue for everyone except myself (the simmer).

Any ideas why this would be?
