Worst team to win the World Series in history

My team is the Toronto Blue Jays, my team won 106 games and headed into the ALCS after sweeping the Yankees in three, to come up against the 83-79 Chicago White Sox. They won the terrible AL Central after having a great second half (winning 13 straight at one point). I somehow lost to them in 6 games thanks to my bullpen imploding and the White Sox constantly hitting home runs. They then go on to beat the Dodgers in 7 games to win it all as the worst regular season team in history to win the World Series. Topping the 2006 83-78 St.Louis Cardinals.

Has anyone else had this happen to them in their games?

I once had a fictional league where the team from Milwaukee won a terrible Central Division over 3 other teams that were under .500. The team from Milwaukee was also under .500. They made playoffs for winning the division and upset everyone they faced to win their first title. Don't know if this counts but it was the funniest thing I've ever seen in this game.
