Saving?
How exactly do you save during a game? I had read somewhere to simply press the home button and the game would save, but on a few occasions I save a game in iootp 14 (android), come back later and I have to start the game over as if I had never played.....
Holy cow, I just started up MLB 15, I should be on my second game of the season, first game I was crushed by Washington 12-5, but its re starting from game one, what am I doing wrong? after my first game I saved with the action, save game button Help! |

Save Game option is not available in Android version. No option to return to main menu from game in progress.

It does seem to save automatically, but not necessarily at the latest point of the game in progress. I'm not sure what triggers the autosave. It doesn't seem on Android that there's any way to exit the ballpark screen.

Thank you! It does save on Android from the "Manager Home" page using the "Action" button at the bottom of the screen.

You are not supposed to leave a game in progress, this is intended. If you switch the game off while in-game, it will automatically save.

If that's the case, it's clearly a design flaw. The only reason I can see for implementing the save as a side effect of closing the program would be to prevent a player from replaying a scheduled game until satisfied with the outcome. If you're interested in playing entire seasons, which I'm not, it's a valid concern. Be the first manager on your block to have a 1.000 winning percentage. Since I treat every game as an exhibition game I don't care. I'd really rather have the option of saving or not saving. This brings up a topic for a different thread, where is the option to play games that aren't part of a season? |

Really? It's a mobile device. You might have to get off the train at the next stop. For that matter, even with competitors' games on the PC, I often have to leave a game in progress. Life happens. But the last sentence is intriguing. How do you switch the game off in-game? |
