Custom Fictional League - Development
Playing through a fictional league right now, it's still fun to say the least. However there doesn't seem to be any progression in ratings? The first 4 or 5 drafts are filled with star players and as years go by their ratings remain at 2 or 3 star and never progress any higher. Likewise older players don't decrease in rating either.
If it means anything, I've set player peaks to 50 instead of the default mid 20's. |

Oh, yeah, that definitely means something. Doing that will massively slow down the development rates. They won't increase normally and then stay at that level until they're around 50; instead their improvement will be stretched out over multiple decades at a very slow pace.

If you have FHM development turned on, they do - historical, fictional, and modern games all run at same rates. If you're using annual recalculation, there's no development - the ratings get reset at the start of the year to (approximately) the level the player was at historically in that season.
