Are you a thug?

You've seen people give other innocent people a butt-whipping for their own advantage/good with no regard to them...

We are online but what's the difference if you're playing strictly to conquer...

Actually I had a conversation with a boy of that mindset...

He wanted to be a conquerer so as not to get stuck...

But. Here's a good example: After 9/11...The Braves & the Mets shook hands before the game like you might do in Little League although you are competing even in Little League. Chipper Jones said the home run Piazza hit that night was the only time an opponent hit a HR & he was if not happy about it, not sad or frustrated about it.

So what I might say to an absolute conquerer is what do you do whence you've really conquered all your so-called foes?

I, too, want to shake Chipper Jones' hand and butt-whoop innocent people after 9/11... or something like that.

That wasn't the tone of the question...

Yeah, it was hard to decipher QC's reply, too. Fair enough to respond to gibberish with gibberish.

I guess all of our arrangements are unique.

There is a historical example of a conquerer that truly was upset because he had nothing left to do now that he had killed all of his enemies...forget who.

That...and the fact that I started in 2.0 with a competitive, even fiercely competitive, ...attitude? But mostly to due with managing tactics, not this economy inflation rate thing that happens with all you market analyzers. Guess it's sort of like being into baseball stats but the market instead so...I have no real comment, except that the inflation & the example of the upset conquerer inspired the original question.

Sounds like Genghis Khan. I put my duplicates into the auction cheap, one over the starting bid for iron, bronze & silver but ask a bit more for gold & diamonds. It'd be faster to just quick sell them but why not try to make them available to others that might want/need them... occasionally I put an iron up with an extreme buy it now price just to elicit a double take and a laugh. I'm not much of a conqueror, play PT for fun and being extremely competitive is too much work for me. A few other games I keep my killer instinct ready for...

No, that was Alexander, who reportedly got as far as modern day India, found that he had no more foes to conquer, and wept.

"When Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept for there were no more worlds to conquer."

The benefits of a classical education.

Perhaps he could see that if he conquered India, he'd be truly out of luck.
