Congrats! My Eck is tearing up the Gold League this year, amassing 2.3 WAR in 32 innings.

Eckersley was the first 100 I got, and he has given my teams plenty of saves.

I also had some pack luck this week and pulled a perfect Eddie Collins. It couldn't have come at a better time. This is my first week in Gold, my team was floundering terribly, off to 12-31 start. I pulled the Collins card, installed him at 2B, which allowed me to move SE Cano over to 3rd (where I had trained him a couple of weeks ago) and the team took off. I'm currently sitting at 69-64, 1GB of the 2nd WC. I don't expect to make the playoffs, but I may have at least staved off relegation and I now have some higher expectations for next week. Amazing what one card can sometimes do.

Had 2k to burn with (that's 2000 points, not you well-off dudes with 200,000!) one of my other teams, so I decided to buy a couple of packs. Snagged a perfect Williams! On a roll!

Wow! That's great pack luck!

I opened some packs I won in tournaments yesterday and found myself disappointed only pulling a LIVE Will Smith (90) -- so spoiled by the Eddie Collins pull earlier in the week. Once I opened the rest of the packs, hitting a LIVE gold and a couple of silvers, it quickly brought me back to earth and the Will Smith didn't seem so bad after all.
