Online leagues

Is anybody out there conducting an online league that does NOT use "real" players and instead uses computer generated players and custom team names etc? These seem hard to come by, but i would love to own my own team in a league like this--preferably one that isn't playing in 1846 (in other words a little more "modern-day")

I will admit, I have only a little experience and I have not been a part of an online league yet...but, I know my baseball and I take things seriously.

One of the leagues I am in, the Pacific States Baseball League(www.psbl.net), uses fictional teams and players and was set in the year 2005. We are now in the stretch run of the '06 season with six teams still in contention out of the sixteen in the two leagues.

I am not sure if there will be a team vacancy until next season but I would lineup now if you are interested in being an owner.

Go to <a href="http://www.sportplanet.com/sbb/hootp" target="_blank">Historically OOTP</a> and check out the Leagues page. It lists alot of fictional leagues along with their era. Also, there is a centralized waiting list there used by all the leagues listed on the site. There are MANY fictional leagues around.

You can check FEBL out if you like. We use completely fictional teams and players, and are currently in our fourth season.
