Discord isn't a Social Media platform... it's a chat program.

Also, wouldn't this be a social media platform?

My Sean Doolittle is the PT Universe saves leader with 223 career saves. Second place has 219 saves.
Where did you find that info?

100% true, it's simply a chat program. Odd that anyone would consider it a social media platform.

That will only include players in your current league, not the entire universe. For example, there's a Stammen in my league with 245 career saves, who's been a closer for his team all 6 seasons.

Ahh dam ok.. Yeah, I guess that makes sense... it's only the league your in league. I guess the teams bounce around a lot and acquire stats from all over.

Is there a way to see overall PT Universe stats???

This is my doolittles 7th season hes pitching in... 42/32/33/36/36/40/4

Who would you guys use as your #5 starter? Here is who I can pick from:

Larry Dierker
Last season he went 19-6 with a 3.06 era. This year he is 1-3 with a 6.59 era.

Patrick Corbin
He started 33 games last year and went 13-12 with a 4.24 era. This year he's a RP and has pitched 6.2 innings, 1.35 era and 2 saves.

James Paxton
Last year he bounced between starting and relieving, ended up going 9-12 with 4 saves and a 4.89 era, 25 games started and 37 overall. Hasn't really pitched this year, going 0.2 ip, with a loss and 40.50 era.

Michael Kopech
I like his 109 stuff rating. Been a reliever the last 3 years. He had a 2.93 and 2.41 era in the last 2 years. Has pitched 6 shut out innings over 4 games.

In gold league if it matters.

Any advice?

Blake Snell (92 ovr) is now 0-5 to start off the season for me in my gold league. He has not last longer than 4.2 in any of the five starts and has given up 7,6,6,7,7 runs in those contests.

The first time I was in gold, Snell went 10-14 with a 4.75 era. This time in gold he's 1-2 with a 3.42 era.

He's never had a dominate year for me, even in silver, thinking about moving on from him.

Dierker is always solid. I'm sure he'll turn his bad start around.

Corbin is also a decent option.

I'm not a fan of Paxton personally. He's always going to give up a fair few dingers.

What are Kopech's movement and control?

I just had to do the same. Took the quick sell 4,000 and got out of there. He was basically a 2.2 WAR guy for me each season across one silver and two gold seasons. Is also had to move on from Verlanders 96 card. I was 10-13 with them and they were a combined 0-9. My high 70s and low 80’s pitchers are carrying my team again.

I'm not going to give up on Verlander just yet. He's going into his 6th season for me, his last two years had gone 15-9 each time (3.95, 2.98). But, he was last years World Series MVP, having 2 CGSO's... 18 ip, 0 er. He also led the league in strike outs last season for me.

Who did you replace Snell with?

I can get rid of Snell, and sell some cards and get live series Max Scherzer.... ? Worth it???
Man.... or I can sell Chris Sale for 20k and get Clayton Kershaw and Trevor Bauer, or someone around 7k

decisions decisions

Kopech might be worth a whirl. Won't give up an unreasonable amount of homeruns, though he'll walk himself into trouble a fair bit.

My vote would be for Dierker. He's my #3 starter (Corbin's my #1) but I'd move Corbin out of my rotation before Dierker if I had to.

Well, diamond isn't quite as rough this time around. We're 12-11 and our pitching is moving back up towards the top and defense is #1. Surprisingly, George Uhle of all people has the early ERA lead, going 4-1 1.64 ERA. Klein still leads in HRs with 10. We've always been last or 14th in the conference, so he's temporarily got us in 4th in HRs along with Boyer, who's playing above his level.

Still getting used to things in D374 with all the new teams. The last two years I've been in fun races for the division, but came up short. Hopefully the third time is the charm, although we've started out playing well (16-7) and are on an eight-game winning streak we hold just a 1/2 game lead.

I let Mattingly try and work things out too long last year, so after a poor start to the season I sent him to the reserve roster. That leaves my bullpen and their 4.17 ERA as my main problem right now, although it's still early.

My league (D367) is currently on May 6th and still going...is the bug from this AM where leagues started early ongoing? Are we not stopping at the end of the month to get "on schedule"?

That doesn't sound so good. My gold league has stopped simming for the day at the end of April, as it should.

The Hoggs stumbled their way to 14-13 to end April, 4 1/2 games back in their division.

Our pitching and defense is strong again, despite Manny Machado training to be backup infielder, which involves playing 2 infield positions he hasn't played before.

Sent rookie Ted Williams to the reserve roster. Going with a Matty Alou-Joe Medwick RF combo instead. It's a brand new position for both of them. Our BA is 8th, runs scored 10th, homers dead last.
