no players in Random Debut

I started a 1985 random debut season, but there are no players on any team?
what did I do wrong, where would I find them ?

Did you simulate to the next day? Within the first few days there will be an initial league draft.

I had it start on July 1. Nothing was happening. I hit continue, and still nothing. Nobody had a player, no instructions to do anything.

After hitting continue a couple more times, Washington signed two goalies. Which was odd because it was 1985, not an expansion year for them.

I did eventually get to the draft after continually hitting continue. That whole thing just didn't seem right.

It looks like the random debut draft isn't adjusting to the July 1 start date, we'll have to change that.
