Draft class quality

So I ended my quest to be the worst hockey team of all-time with the sixth overall pick in my draft. I'm playing fictional, but using a standard CHL setup. I get to the draft and I see four goalies at 5* potential, then one 4* center and no other skaters over 3.5*. I know it was said somewhere that draft classes would look different because of a change in the way star ratings are generated or whatever it was, but to those who have played deep enough that their draft pools are fully game-generated, can anyone tell me if this is what I should expect or if it's a particularly weak draft class? As I said in my other thread, I'm mainly coming over from FHM2, where 3* prospects could be had into like the third or fourth round.

Likely just a weak draft class.

I'm running a test/study file right now with the latest build. I started a fictional game and simmed 10 years. Here's the upcoming draft class. Keep in mind though that not all players reach their listed potential.

Shot through a few test seasons last night in fictional. Seems to varry depending on how many Jr teams you have in comparison to major league teams. If you have more jr teams than major, you get more quality players.

Glad to see this at least isn't gonna be customary. Looks like a legendary goalie class with four guys at 5*, considering what I did to all my goalies on the team I guess that isn't necessarily the worst thing for me.

Wish my class was deeper though. I have 8 second round picks. :/
