Huge Offensive numbers in 2020?
After 2 years of normal numbers, this year 10 guys batted .330+, and 15 guys with 40+ HRs, and 3 guys with 50+. ERAs skyrocketed, does anyone know why this has happened and what a fix is?

Do you have league evolution enabled?
There is a possible random event/rule change that can take place that either increases or decreases offensive output league wide.

You can also adjust this by tweaking your league totals in your settings. Check out the manual section about it, or others here can probably help you with that. I’m not very experienced with that stuff.

Thanks - I have looked at that stuff and messed around with it a little in prior leagues but since I wasn't certain exactly how it all works I didn't want to mess around with it before learning about it more.

change the modifiers. althought, if league evolution did affect them, you could load up a new default game (or of your settings, template?) and then screenshot that or write them down get them back to original.
on opening day before any games are played, click "autocalculate modifiers" [sic]. that is only visible during preseason (or ST? limited, either way). clicking it on opening day Before any games will ensure that all AI rosters are setup when you click this button, as they will be used in season (relatively speaking, injuries blah blah). that's when i look at preseason predictions too. then you don't see SP with 27gs because in ST they are setup as 6-man rotations. 1/6th of the 'prediciton' is based on some minor leaguer starting. if you want your own set of League Totals, make a spreadsheet. setup a formula to calculate ba, obp, slub, babip.. make sure it all adds up properly to the values you input into the game. put in .300 babip and the values you use equate to .320 and maybe it doesn't run as smoothly as it could.
