A handful of generic smaller capacity 3D parks would be a great addition to the standard game, IMO.

There is an option to auto arrange the ball locations. When you click it, it tells you exactly which ones you need to place Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This might be a long explanation, but this is how I've always done it.
In the league you are playing, go to game settings, league setting, and then functions. Click on the Edit Ballparks button, the final button under Editors This is the screen that comes up. At the top, you can select the ballpark you want. We'll use Memorial Stadium in Baltimore as the example here. Once you've selected your park, click the 3D Model Tab that is at the very top of the screen. Here you'll click the Load New 3D Model button, underneath the stadium name at the top. Once you get here, you can bypass the first two steps for future parks and just use this page's drop down menu for stadiums. This is what you want to see. The 3D file that you want. Click on it and you're good. How do you get the file in the right folder? There's probably an easier way, but I've always gotten to this point in order to place the 3D files in my game. So you download whichever of the parks you want from the link i sent. You'll need a zip tool to unzip the park files. Once you've done that, the park should be in a folder form, which contains everything you've need. Your goal is to place that entire folder in the models folder of the ballpark folder in the game. It's more complicated than it sounds. In the above screenshot, use the up and previous buttons to navigate until you find the BALLPARKS folder in the OOTP 18 folder. When you're in the ballpark folder, click the OPEN tab at the top of the page. That will open up the folder itself and you'll get what you see below. Click on the models folder and then drop the park folder that you've unzipped in there. That 3D file is now in your game and you can upload it to the park you want using the first three screenshots. Hope that helps, you can let me know if you have any questions. If someone more experienced sees this and knows i'm doing way more work than i should be, please let me know of any easier ways! |
