Changing signs in 3D parks
I have been successful in up-dating the signs with more realistic signs in a lot of the 3D parks by opening the nigh/day .wep files, saving them as .jpg and adding signs using paint.net then reversing the saving process. They look pretty good and I will post them so all can use them. However, there are some parks what can't be modified with this process, e.g. Marlins & Reds. They must be formatted in some other manner. Does any one know what I have to do to modify those parks?

Good stuff and great idea. Makes me want to try my hand with my fictional teams. As to your question, no, no idea, but didn't want to be remiss in thanking you for your contribution and ingenuity.

Thanks. I plan on making them all available if I can get past this problem. If you have a favorite team, I can send you the revised park if I have it finished.

I open the wep (night & day) files with irfanview than save them as jpegs. I can then use paint.net (a free program) to open the jpegs, add the signs, save as jpegs, then open the jpegs with irfanview and save as wep. This is a round-a-about method but works with most parks. There may be an easier/better way but I have discovered it yet. Obviously, I save the original files and do all this stuff in a seperate folder trying to avoid disaster. In case you do this, or use mine, you need to save the modified parks someplace else because everytime OOTP is updated it over writes the ballpark files and you have to copy the revised ones back to the applicable models folders. I hope this answered your question. If not, message me.
