21 Strikeouts

Jose Vasquez, a notorious strikeout king, recently recorded 21 strikeouts in 10 innings of work. After finishing the 9th allowing just 1 hit and striking out 19, he surrendered a single and got 2 more K's in the 10th to conclude his 143 pitch monster performance. McCarthy came in relief and struck out the side in 2 consecutive innings as Denver finished the day striking out 28 times...and still won the game. Bobby Londono also tossed a 1-hitter through 9 frames and Denver's offense came up clutch with a couple doubles off Jorge Cruz in the 13th to waste Vasquez's outing and hand Las Vegas a loss.

Really interesting to see him take off and exceed his potential by a longshot

i have k's at 36.5k-ish or higher (close enough for post) and still haven't seen a 20k guy in 117 years in last year's release. saw it in '17 with similar settings, though..

that league was weird compared to my previous leagues.. some many crap players with records that it seemed out of proportion (odd luck is all).

i like those line graphs, can't say it enough. even faster to scan over historical scouting data per player.

I wonder how many awake fans there were by the 13th inning

The best a guy in my league (year 2041) did was 19 K's in a game. Granted, this same guy had an 18 K game the year before and is only in his 3rd or 4th season. Perhaps he can get to 20 K's at some point.

Just curious, how many of those strikeouts did he have in the first 9 innings?
