Paul Williams at 168
Hi everyone,
I have a quick question and need opinions from experts (all of you). I will be starting a SMW tournament that I plan on posting. One of the participants will be Paul Williams. My question is, Paul doesn't have a 168 rating. He did say in his career that he would fight anywhere from 154-168. In your opinion. would you leave Paul at the MW rating and have him fight 168 pounders with 'adjust for weight class differences' checked? That would mean he'd have a slight drop in his rating categories by moving to 168. OR Would you just create a new SMW rating for him, keeping the MW ratings, meaning he would be fighting 168 pounders with his default MW rating. Do you see a huge difference in Paul moving up 8 pounds? Would he be closer to his 160 default rating or would that jump be just enough to lower his default 160 pound rating? My initial thought is that moving all the way up to 168 from 154 would lower his ratings a bit, however, his tall frame may fit 168 really well. Thanks, everyone! |

That's a good question dragon, years ago I saw a 5 rated Paul at 168 I used for a while - I think that rating was auto generated by the game but I figured it made sense for him.
