There are a few nickname mods listed here, but there hasn't been much work on modding nicknames because most modders, I think, are dissatisfied with the way the game handles nicknames. In contrast to names, which can be targeted to specific ethnicities, nicknames are entirely random. So, for instance, a right-handed player can get the nickname "Lefty" or a pitcher can get the nickname "Slugger." Until the game changes the way it handles nicknames, therefore, I don't think there will be a lot of people working on mods.
