When Does OOTP Introduce Fictitious Players Into The Game ?
At what point in the game does OOTP start bringing in fictitious players ?
In rookie draft, do they start showing up after 4 seasons of play in game ? How many seasons do the International Free Agents remain real players ? How many seasons do the scouting discoveries remain real life players ? |

For international free agents it's just 2019 that has real-life players.
For scouting discoveries, none of them are real players. For the amateur draft it's tricky, because some real players won't sign and go back into the draft for next year. One thing I use to find real-life players is to look if they have a twitter profile in their player profile. Obviously not everyone has a twitter account listed, but hey, no fake players have twitter. It'd be cool if we could get some sort of indication of who the real players are, though, I like drafting as many real people as possible before the fictional players |

Fictional players can be introduced as early as your first season with the amateur draft. While some of the players are "real", if you have a larger draft pool the rest will not. If you feel like it you can also generate fictional players for the draft pool, MLB ready players, or anything else in between.
