Game keeps crashing at 71%

Hello!

I downloaded OOTP 20 yesterday, and every time I try to play the current MLB league, the game loads correctly until it gets to 71% and then crashes. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing has helped.

Sorry that's happening!

It sounds like the game may be trying to write files to a folder where you don;t have permissions.

Can you try to use a different data path.

To do so, open "Game settings" -> "Experts" tab and select another data path for OOTP like for example c:\ootp20

Restart the game and try again. Let me know if that fixes things.

Hey! So i did what you told me to do and the game still keeps crashing at 71%. Is there anything else I can try?

That solution did actually work; I helped him out with making sure it was done the correct way.
