Perfect 419 Season 18 - Page 4

The AC Central Division is a real mess. There is a different leader every day. Three teams are with in a half a game. Cincinnati, San Diego and the Rocky Point team has traded leaders in the last week every day. It looks like it will be a fight all season long. Let’s also not forget the Gryphons Blue who are a Defending Champion and are also a biggie in the Central Division. Any one of those 4 teams could win that Division. Should be a very exciting second half of the season. On the other hand In the AC western Division it looks like the Seattle Base Thieves want to make their Division boring . They lead by a healthy 6 games.

Yea, got a decent lead. I’m getting some chow for my wife now but will check if PT is working when I get home.

Tomorrow is 1960 cards and then my pizza and beer.

Got rid of Fisk with his high ERA even with good ratings. He was not good for the Zorros. Put Boone back in and the Pitchers are starting to perform again. Made a couple changes and with x fingers we are off. 🤞

Put Fisk up in the AH and he was taken in 2 minutes. I kid you not. Lol. Good luck who ever bought him. I hope he performs better for you. (Unless you ever play me that is.)

This season has been rough for the Gryphs. Yeah fielding is good, but offense is very inconsistent and for some reason my starting pitching has gone from my strength to my weakness this week. My ERA is up around a full run a game for the starters, although the pen has been decent. But when I get the pitching, the offense goes to sleep, and when I score runs I lose 9-8.

Finger is firmly hovering over the "fire myself" button now.

Jabberwookies were on fire for a while. I thought I could get some easy wins and ended up losing all 3 games against them. I think they will cool down and give you a chance to win the division.

I got lucky and took the last 2 from the Base Thieves. I do not see anyway I can hold on to first place. I am not playing well and I face the hardest schedule I have ever faced at end of year. I play SanDiego 10 times and Cincinnati 13 times for a total of 23 games out of the last 50. Thai is unbelievable. 🤯😱

Now that I look at the schedule it is crazy. I also play the Blue 8 more times and I am 4-7 against them. That is 31 tough games out of 50. Give me a break. There is no way I can win this Division. 😱

Ok, Getting ready for the stretch drive, I sold Gooden and picked up Ichiro Suzuki. First time I have eve seen this 93 card. Sure hope she helps....Time for some Pizza and beer.🍕🍺

Zorro, my customary report while waiting for my Pizza. Picked up about 90 cards from 1960. Not many stars but got Early Wynn and Ernie Banks.
