Why no recognition?

I just clinched the NL Central title, yet received no news message (all my message categories are checked), to that effect. Have also received no messages about other clinchings, except one other team's making the playoffs, that have taken place. What is just as strange is that my manager home page only indicates that I am leading the division, even though I've already won it. Is this normal? Seems some acknowlegement should be in order.
