1,000+ Free Agents - What Should I Do
I took Captain Walrus' All Time League, shrunk it to 30 teams and did a Fantasy Draft. I also did a Free Agent/Supplemental Draft. There are still over 1,000 free agents.
For some reason the teams won't sign them. I have the limits from the majors to Rookie League set to 25/30/30/30/40, but only the Triple A rosters are full. Should I: A) delete the remaining free agents (I really don't want to do this) B) create an independent league (I'm not sure how/if this would work) C) just deal with it and let things happen I toyed with the idea of filling the minors with fictional players, but that would only seem to muddy the waters even more. Please let me know your thoughts on this, thanks!

What date is your league at? Offseason, preseason, spring training, etc?
Minor league teams will go on a signing spree to fill in their rosters on day 1 of their season. |

Depending on how many open spots there still are on the minor league rosters, you may find the majority of those free agents will get sucked up once the seasons begin to start.

I'd suggest making a quick copy of your league, loading the copy, setting all teams to AI controlled (if that's not already your setting), and then zooming ahead to see if the teams do in fact sign a bunch of those free agents.

It might be some work but I ones had over 2000 unsigned free-agents so I started an independent low level minor league about 6-8 teams with each team having 32 player rosters. This helps clean up some

I'd suggest doing away with the roster limits for Rookie and Short A then making A 40, AA 35 and AAA 30
That will get many of those FA on a team |
