1959 LA Coliseum in 3D?

I've had this kind of reaction with OOTP before in the past few years only to give up trying to figure some things out.

But this version has really grabbed me. Flipped out over the little players on the screen and the added realism. If I can just figure other things out better I'll be staying with OOTP19.

I'm replaying my fav 59 World Series with my White Sox along with another 2k5 World Series. It is fantastic and the added script is terrific!

Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a 3D version of the Dodgers old 59 Coliseum stadium for version 19. I've looked at ballpark downloads but can't find a 3D version of this stadium. Wasn't sure where to put this so I ended up here.

At any rate...whether there is one or not...OOTP19 announcing and park play realism is splendid !!

Yes, there is. silvam built it. If you download my ballparks file (available soon through Add-Ons Central), you’ll have updated versions of all of silvam’s Parks.

Thanks, I was able to figure out importing Shea Stadium but then I started the game and it still shows citi field, man this is a bummer, maybe I should just wait.

Went ahead and lost the Series with the Dodgers in 59...4 games to 2...drat...just like real life. : )

i had lost 4-1 back on 17. Do you use old Comiskey for any Sox leagues? i was able to get Silvam to make a version with the Elgin exploding scoreboard. Heres a 2D version.

No I started when first getting the game and it had a stadium that both 59 teams had to use. I tried later but wasn't able to change the stadiums. I only have those that came with the game.

But it was still a blast. When the 3D's come in the Add Ons I'll play this world series again.

Your stadiums look splendid...I hope in my next 59 battle I can get the Coliseum that LA used back in 59. PStrickert had a neat post with the pic.

I dont know what the differences are between the pic that Ps posted above and the current Silvam park but you can download several Old Commie's and the Coliseum from Silvams Mediafire.
Some of thse will come with a .prk file for factors and dimensions but if they dont you can probably find pstrickerts old .prk file set .

How did you get the backgrounds for these? On the 3D old Comiskeys that I have, its just the regular city backgrounds. Which are cool, but they're a little weird in terms of perspective. These are absolutely gorgeous
