Bug: Toronto Crowned Stanley Cup Champions
June 7th, 1984:
"[210-428] The Toronto Maple Leafs celebrated wildly after they eliminated the Montreal Canadiens in the Stanley Cup title series....." Obviously the game must be broken for this to happen!!! |

Did you enable the "MLSE owns Maple Leafs" option? You need that one in effect in order to guarantee the Leafs never make the Stanley Cup.

They've tried to fix this in the latest patch. It's now written into the game that they can't win a Playoff series. In game 7, I was up by 3 with just over ten minutes to go against the Bruins and lost in OT. This game just hates the Leafs

I wish the NHL kept the stat of teams that have the lead with 5 minutes to go in the game but lose in regulation or overtime. The Leafs hold the pro sports record(games that use a clock).

It's worse than that. They held a two-goal lead with under three minutes left and gave up two goals after the other club had pulled its goalie. A team scoring just one goal after pulling its goalie is rare enough, but scoring two? When's the last time that happened in the NHL?

The Leafs continue to reach new heights, even if it is for losing. Only Canadian pro hockey-team never to win 3 rounds in a playoff year...
