Need to remind those in Diamond...you can remove the Steelport Saints. They will not be participating in OL play in the 2049 season, seeking a desire to test themselves in the wilderness.

The Redlegs are going to keep going where they are as well. But the Goldbugs will remain an OL team.

All Time Standings Through 2048

As we begin the 30th season of Our League, this will be the first standings that will have games missing that will not be re-captured. I was able to add in a half-dozen previous times playoff games were missed when OOTP eventually posted the playoffs. That said, however, it's pretty remarkable, given the obstacles, it's hung together so well. Nicely done, guys.

There are several missing teams in Perfect, it appears. However, none of the other entrants are whales, and only one is a team that generally wins at perfect level.

But, oh, my, like last year, there is once again a stacked division: the AC East. Both Cigar City and the Southpaws are there (as they were last year, when it was the NC East), along with Fargo. Fargo and the Southpaws have been the overall two most successful OL teams in recent years; and Cigar City is not far behind.

Looking at gold...Nico-Nico did not make it this week.

Feels like it's league placement bias against the world's #1 super idol by the machine.

Our League D353

Late last night, I went ahead and made a spreadsheet for the diamond standings. I purposely left Southside off it, hoping RNGJesus would bring them back to spite me. It worked! I'm pretty sure that the 22 OL teams in D353 represent the full complement of teams. Only one division has only two teams in it, while the rest have at least three. Should be a nice swath of games for all.

Bobcats Off To Hot Start in OL D353

Ozark leads the way in April, but the cache of contenders is considerable, so, hopefully, that portends a spirited crown chase. On an interesting side note, Asylum has played all OL games so far, and will play 20 more OL games before breaking that string.

Due to time constraints after this week I am going to withdraw 3 teams from OL for an undetermined amount of time. The Boogie Knights (Edster007c) will remain in OL but I will drop:

Edster007a (San Pedro)
Edster007b (Everett)
Edster007d (Jefferson Valley)

The three teams will remain OL compliant (primarily because I won't be checking them) and hope to reintroduce them in the future. Reality is I haven't had the time and don't foresee it in the near future to keep up with them. The past couple of weeks I have only done the bare minimum-updating the friend list and resetting the rotation on Monday morning and barely checking in between. I decided on keeping the Knights over the others as they are a theme team that I have invested a lot of time in.

Shasta Sizzles to Snare Lead in OL D353

The Black Bears were a blazing, 13-2, with Clyde trucking along at, 15-5, while Missouri motored at, 12-6, in yesterday's action.

A little pitching success this week...

The Bears' Jesse Crain - recently moved to Stephensville's starting rotation - threw a no-no against the Northeast Corridor Capitals in Silver 292 play. Crain has been a key part of a staff that leads the lead in runs allowed.

Meanwhile, in P457, Harlem has ridden the struggle bus for most of the season, with staff ace, 100OVR Walter Johnson sporting a 6-9 record and a 3.87 ERA.

However, Johnson had a big game against non-OL participant, Maxie's Ragin' Cajuns, throwing a one-hitter, walking none, striking out 16.

While Crain's no-hitter earned 1600PP, Walter's effort pulled in 6250PP! The key was a 101 game score, which accounted for 5000 of the total.

Assertive Atom Smashers Regain Lead in OL D353

Annandale reeled off a 16-3 June to move to the top, while Waffletown posted a sweet 17-8 mark and Ozark purred to a 12-6 tune in the OL crown chase. With more than a half-dozen teams contending, it still looks to be a hard fought race.

Annandale Asks: What's that Growling Noise?

The Atom Smashers posted a solid, 14-9, log in July to maintain the lead in OL D353, but Shasta streaked to a 12-2, mark, making Annandale's grip a bit more tenuous. Pablo also gained, going 14-7.

I'll have silver and gold stuff on Saturday. Haven't had a lot of time to get to it this week.

Are Atoms Smashers Assailable in OL D353?

Just barely. Annandale rolled to a 20-7 month, which made Ozark's outstanding 13-5 pace good for only a small gain in the standings. The Bobcats, who face a difficult task, are the only team with any real shot at catching the Atom Smashers. Each team has a large slate of games remaining, but if Annandale goes 13-12, which would represent their worst month of the season, the Bobcats would need a 20-6 record to edge them, .6517 to .6515. And though Pablo and Waffletown are not mathematically eliminated, they would need collapses by both the top teams to win, plus near perfect records in their 21 and 22, respectively, games remaining. It would seem a less than bold pick to predict that Annandale will go back-to-back and take home their seventh crown.

Looking at Silver, it's already been decided as Daytona Beach has clinched the crown. Stephensville host Northeast Corridor for 3 more games at the end of the season, but neither can overtake Daytona Beach. Daytona Beach, O'Fallon, and Bluffton have each completed their thin OL slates.

As far as full league performance goes, Daytona Beach are in the driver's seat for the NC East title and the #1 seed. Northeast Corridor lead Stephensville by 3.5 games, buoyed by pack pulls of 99 Eddie Collins and 100 Hughie Jennings, both of whom fit their theme. The loser of that NC West race will likely be WC2 in the conference.

O'Fallon lead their non-OL opposition in the AC West by 8 games as they try to win the #1 seed in the AC.

Bluffton are 66-80, and are unlikely to make the playoffs. However, they will not be relegated.

EDIT: Nico-Nico didn't make gold OL for some reason, so I can't give you gold standings

Atom Smashers Sail to Seventh Crown in OL D353

Annandale goes back-to-back, posting a 19-6 final month to run away with the OL crown. Their 92 OL wins made them the first team to crack 1100 wins all time.

The playoff tree is attached. Tacoma is headed back to gold. The Friends List has been updated to reflect that.
