My Baseball Universe (Colorado Rockies) Dynasty
Hey this is going to be a different sort of Dynasty, I don't like to write as much as I like to talk tho I will be posting updates to this thread most of my posts are going to be Links to my Youtube upload of my Dynasty reports.
I have ran a solo League from 1981-2116 covering OOTP12-19 I still have that save but I wanted to start fresh and to talk about the things I do/decisions I make with people and maybe have others enjoy. I have played this game so much I have won WS and Lost WS so many different ways I am so excited to experience this Journey with you. On to the important stuff. I took over in 2017 the Colorado Rockies partly because they are my 2nd Favorite team but mostly because the other team offering me a job actually had GM in the role and Rockies didn't. Will post the link to my YouTube for the first season videos and another for the 2018 season videos. I will post video updates For: 1. start of Spring trainig 2. Opening Day Roster 3. 2 Month Review and Draft Preview 4. MLB Draft 5. Playoff games 6. Season Review 7. HoF class Other Videos will but uploaded between 5-7 If things change or something I want to talk about or show you guys, Minor things like trades or Team Milestones will be posted here. I want to treat this like a podcast with visuals. I do update my own League Mods so the stats output is around 2009-2012 FYI. I also add players to draft poll and let the game do the rest for my own enjoyment, if you want to be added PM me and I will do so love to add a reason for people to follow.

It is the Start of May and Rockies are off to a hot start 22-14 but I think there is a few Upgrades I can make, First off Zach Gold Hasn't been so good since first 2 starts of year and I picked up a few decent IF and Conners is declining.
I was thinking of making a trade and Shopped around for the best and most fair offer, this one Below is what I saw, Will go over the trade during my 2 Month review and Draft Preview Video.

So for the last 2 weeks of May I have been getting calls from teams about Lupe Nieto , now he pitched pretty well in my crappy Pen last season but didn't make the team in the spring, he is good enough rating wise but he is 28 & not a lock for my pen. so I decided to try and actually get something worth while for him.
I ended up trading him to the Los Angeles Angels for Jimmy Reeder 21y MR 96-98 3 Pitches 11 Stamina 16/12/15 (1-20 scale) 4th round pick Might not have been the best I could've have gotten but it gives me and young decent prospect and a pick that could be around the same, also clears a spot in AAA and the 40man. It is June 1st in game, I am going to do my 2-month Video and talk about the trades, my team going forward & a little Draft preview should be posted soon.

Its been 2 months and well the Rockies are in first place, the preseason predictions had me winning the Division and I had my self winning if everything went well.
So far everything is going well & I go over it in my Video. Some season Highlights SP ERA: of 4.21 7th BP ERA: 3.55 3rd Those are big improvements for this pitching staff, yes the big key is healthy staff which leads to less over worked Bullpen. Offense has been really good with Ken Mckay & Murdock Farnell being just flat out amazing. As well I go through a little draft preview but will do a draft video and let you judge what I pick up.

Well the team improvements don't stop but this one isn't really a improvement as it is more space clearing for my #1 Prospect.
So what I got back from the Angels SP Mike Black 25yr 92-94 3 Pitches 20 Stamina 19/9/15 (1-20 scale) Decent SP depth could see him making Majors next season if needed CL Jon Cox 20yr 95-97 4 Pitches 9 Hold runners 17/12/11 He was actually better rated when was drafted in 2017 but I'm still hoping he maybe could turn into something. Also to add to this Post on the negative side Juan Cortians has been lost for 13 months I will go over what my expectations are for the season after my draft Video.

Well it is time for the First year player draft, I have 24 Picks in this draft if you wanted to see who I picked take a look (DRAFT)
I didn't sign 6 players from this draft tho 1 of the 2 I wanted to sign was Impossible. This draft went alot better then last years and I signed a bunch of players I think will be great for the future of my team. I did mention that I would be giving an update, with the loss of Juan Cortians and the loss of 5th SP Kyeong-eon Hyeon I'm going to have to hope that improved Depth I have in SP in the minors will actually pay off. Jorge Pedrosa, Griff Sewel 1 Or both of these guys will hopefully step up and help me.

The Rockies are going back to the Playoffs, we finished 96-66 and won the Division and had the 2nd best record in NL which in my Universe means they get first round bye.
6 teams make the playoffs 3 Division winners 3 WC, top 2 gets Bye. WCS is 3 games, DS is 5 LC is 7 WS is 7 In the first round we are Facing the Brewers they won the Central and won the WCS in 3 games. Here is the Video of The series NLDS

We won the NLDS and moved on to face the RED hot Arizona Diamondbacks who started as Wild Card team and Have swept their way to the NLCS.
I didn't record a lot of games from this series so here are the game by game Highlights: Game 1 In Colorado: Arizona came out fast & was up 4-1 heading into the 5th inning. In the Top of the 6th Pat Hufham came up and hit a 2 run bomb to make it 7-2 and after they added a run in the top fo the 7th I thought the game was over but from the Bottom of the 7th on we out scored them 10-1 with 2 big hits in the 9th M Farnell PH 2 run triple & J Green run scoring double. Capped off with a 3 run PH homer from J Alamo Final 12-9 10 innings Game 2 in Colorado: Game 2 wasn't moving as fast as the first game 1-1 going into the 6th inning but Arizona got a HR and double and that was it for Pedrosa down 3-1 but in the bottom of the 7th Ravi PH & hit a 3 run HR to give us a 4-3 lead. Meyers/Neal/Miller finished off the game for win #2 Final 6-3 Game 3 in Arizona: This game was all tied up 0-0 till Arizona hit a pair of homers In the 4th & added another in the 6th to make it 4-0. Rockies didn't score until the 8th on a Ravi PH RBI single but it wasn't enough to mount a full comeback. Final 4-2 Game 4 in Arizona: So this game got out of hand real quick with a 6 spot put up in the 2nd inning for the Rockies, Arizona got on the board in the Bottom of the 4th but in all but one inning it was following a Rockies score. SP E Hermosillo was 3-3 with 3 RBI while also Pitching 6 innings 3 R 5K. Final 12-5 I did record the rest of the series NLCS.

WOOO The Rockies are going to the World Series for the first time since 2008!!!
This is crazy awesome and I'm so happy but this World Series is going to be tough as hell, Facing Baltimore who won 105 games this season only saving grace is super hot Catcher got hurt in ALCS but the backup could step up. Morales/Najar/Hermosillo for the first 3 games, depending how the series goes Pedrosa is up for game 4 if we winning after 3 games. Here is the first 3 games of the World Series.

The World Series is in full swing and Rockies are up 2-1 with the next 2 games at home & the desire to end the series on home soil.
Game 4 in Colorado: By the top of the 3rd Baltimore had just hit a 2-run homer to make it 4-1 but a HUGE error from the Orioles P 2 runs score to make it 4-3 after a scoreless 4th, Rockies Greg Blackwell hit 2 run single to give them the lead 5-4 and that's the way the game ended now Rockies up 3-1. Game 5 in Colorado: Watch from 12:12 In the Video for just game 5

The 2019 Season couldn't have possibly went any better with the Rockies winning the World Series but there is plenty of things that have to go right if I want to win another World Series.
In my latest video I talk about what I liked from my players this year and what I expect from them next year. Also in the video is the preview of the 2020 World Baseball Classic, this one of my favorite things in OOTP & in this universe the WBC runs every 3 years with the worst 4 Countries being changed out every tournament. The last part of the video Is the 2020 HOF class and who is up for 2021. Below is the video enjoy! 2019 Review + 2020 WBC & HOF

I am about to do a Twitch stream of the 5 Games for Greenland the team I am managing this season in the WBC.
I will be replacing injured players on other teams if possible because of limited number of games one injury could ruin the entire tournament. Twitch link or if you don't want to watch live will be uploading video to YouTube along with WBC Playoffs.

The WBC Round Robin went well for Greenland we went 4-1 tho the 5th game was a nail biter vs Venezuela who was also 3-1.
Here is all 5 Games. I had a problem with my Mic so no video for playoffs. Game 1 at Panama 4-1 Group A: Game was pretty even 0-0 through 3 innings, 1 out double and 2 out double in the 4th gave Panama 2-0 lead. In the 7th Greenland just went off and scorred 8 runs, Highlighted with a G. Fallingborg 2 out Grand Slam. 2 more runs scored in top of the 8th to seal the round 1 victory. Final 10-3 Greenland Game 2 at Canada 5-1 Group B: This game started off great 1-0 Greenland after 1 but W. Peckham hit a HR in the 2nd then 2 run single in the 3rd to give Canada the lead, after 3 it was 5-3. Å. Lillesoe tied WBC Playoff record for doubles with his 3rd which made the game 5-4 in the top of the 6th but in the bottom of the 6th R. Grewal hit a 2 run homer to finish off this game. Final 7-5 Canada Game 3 vs Cuba 5-2 Group C: This game didn't start off so well with Cuba taking early lead 1-0 after 1, we kept it mostly close but it didn't get any better, Cuba added runs in the 4th, 6th, 7th & 9th. The only time Greenland put up a fight was in bottom of the 9th when they used a hit and 2 walks to load the bases with 1 out but E. Ornelas was put in the game he finished it off for Cuba. Final 6-0 Cuba, Greenland eliminated. Was a disappointing end to the WBC for me and Greenland. Here is how the WBC went:

So I have made a trade, trading away Norm Kaler for:
RF Kinnon Mews 26yr 13 LF rating 11 RF rating 15/17/11/10/18 Is from my home town but not the reason I picked him up, he hits RHP really well has decent defence its honestly better then I would have expected to get for Norm, could be in Majors if injury's hit my OF. Opening day video is right around the corner!!
