Detroit refocused on producing more offense and they go 9-2-2 in March. Detroit outscored their opponents 43-29. I changed the power play up during the month and went 9-57 (15.8%), which would be good for 22nd in the league. Zetterberg injury looks to have another week or two for his full recovery hopefully for the first round of playoffs. Detroit remains 2nd in Atlantic and 4th in the conference. Tatar, Jurco and Mantha has great months. We improved on our goals per game and moved to 1st in the league in goals against. (thanks to Mrazek) Offensive and Defensive strategies for the month. |

I did try to improve my power play by doing a few things differently. I had used "Umbrella" for most of the year. So as you can see in the game by game scores (I put PP/PK strategies). Here is the summary.

Tomas Tatar has a 4 goal game on April 3 @ Tampa Bay. Tatar's four goals gives Detroit a 4-2 win. It takes Tatar to 31 goals for the season.
Detroit's offensive production made improvements through the year. The power play was an area that took some time for me to work out. We seem to be on producing now. I didnt record strategy for my first 4 games (3-1-0). |
