I would contact f.Montoya as I believe he operates that host. He should be able to help you out.

Darn... I did that earlier today and he told me to come and ask here! I guess I'll just manually email owners. It'll be a bit of a challenge with just 5 minutes between picks, but I think I can handle it.

Just use a yahoo mailing group. They're free, and it should work just fine.

Would there be any interest in a playoff odds report? I wrote an excel spreadsheet that runs off of the games.csv file and calculates playoff odds based on current pythagorean win pct and the remaining schedule. I could probably put it into a format that would work with Getch's utilities. You can see a sample of the results on the IFB forums: here.

Getch, great work once again. I'm having a problem though. The Managers page and the Export Tracker work. I think I have everything set-up correctly, but when I run the Last Sim or the Dev reports they never seem to update. I'm sure it's something simple, but I'm totally missing it. I've re-read the readme multiple times and can't figure it out.

The Dev page only will start showing stuff after the second sim. The first sim, nothing will show as it is making a baseline comparison.

As for the Last Sim, someone else just recently complained to me about it as well... I haven't gotten to the bottom yet. Is there are place you can send me your .csv files and I can take a look on my machine?

FYI, the other person had an issue because the OOTPOU/lastSim directory didn't exist (for development, it should be OOTPOU/development). They should be created when you unzip the zipfile. Check to see that they exist.

Take the ootpou.pl file found at:

http://www.diamondleaguebaseball.com/utils/ootpou.txt

Rename it to ootpou.pl and put it into your cgi folder on your server. It has some better exception handling, and hopefully it'll show what the issue is. Let me know.

I have a question...I've been using these fine utilities for about 2 seasons. If I install this all-in-one package, will we lose our development history? I'm really interested in the last sim bit, but I'm not sure if I feel like losing the development history we already have.

Nope, see the readme. It tells you how to upgrade. Basically, you'll just need to copy/move the contents of your development directory to the OOTPOU/development directory.

Best utilities for OOTP, hands down.

The draft utility by itself is enough to make online leagues about 10 times funner. The draft is no longer a horribly inefficient forum based event that stops simming.

Kudos to Getch. Nailed it on this one, buddy.

How hard would it be to make other stats available in All Star Voting?

Not hard, depending on the stats. Which stats?

Well, for hitters I'd like to see VORP, and for pitchers I'd like to see WHIP, and maybe QS% for starters.

Actually, the guys in the GUBA are coming up with a pretty good list of stuff. Give me a few and I'll post them.
