I usually only post in threads that interest me and in those where I contribute something to the discussion.

The Ohio Swallowtails thread did not get any response... no one posted any replies or help... I would do you a logo, but it is highly likely that you wouldn't use it... we just have different tastes in graphics.

Your Anashe Jazz got very little response... one poster said it was not clear what you wanted... that's why I tell you to just post a simple request and see what they do... it is doubtful that anyone will do personal requests much anymore on the Graphics Forum.

Your San Diego Friars only got a response from me... I was hoping my so-so work would motivate someone to help you... but it didn't.

Apparently it is a waste of your time to post on the Graphics Forum for help with your logos, jerseys and caps... no one seems to be interested in doing any personal requests by you... but, not only for you, but for anyone... low, Lawn Loaf, txranger and others just mainly do their own projects in their own thread... occasionally txranger does a personal request on the Graphics Forum... but not often.

Please make sure you do not post in the Retro Style thread... that would be big mistake.

As far as the MLB Spring Training Caps, I thought they were OK, but not something I would use.... my leagues are fictional... apparently you were not impressed either... you only liked half of the teams... as I have told you before, I prefer the cap to have a capital Letter of the town name rather than the mascot image... mascot images or fancy cap logos are too small to show up well in the game... that is why I don't like fancy primary logos... they show up well at 300x300 pixels, but not at 50x50... I like simple ones that looks better on the game screens.

As far as your OOTP20 Discussions thread... I have no interest in telling people what towns to use in their leagues... I have found this type of thread to be useless... people post their suggestions and then the thread poster doesn't use them... I no longer waste my time with town and nickname suggestions.

The only exception is when I am impressed with the someone like ruwisc and his Major League expansion thread... I will make comments in threads like that... but the last 5-6 towns he listed as expansion teams were subpar compared to his earlier work... I got the impression he rushed to finish the project and didn't research as much as he did in the past... but I just didn't post.... I didn't want to post negative opinions... they would not change anything if I did... so why do it?

However, if the thread poster asks for your opinion, then I will tell them... even if it is a negative one... constructive criticism is good, if it is requested... otherwise, "if you don't have anything good to say, don't say it"... is good advice.

I don't plan on posting anytime soon on the Retro thread, but there may come a day when it will be okay again to do so, Lord willing, of course. I'll try to follow the Lord's leading when and if it comes to something like that, you know, as best as I can.

Feel free to try and come up with something in terms of at least one logo for the Swallowtails, if you like. You might be surprised with what I might like, in truth. True, it may not necessarily align perfectly with what I might like to see for them. But then again, as people may often say, nothing ventured, nothing gained. If nothing else, it will give you valuable design experience, I'm sure.

Don't sell yourself short, on the design front, either. You are fairly imaginative as well, and you are better able to stay focused than I am, in certain ways, and are more concise with how you write, often, than I am.

Actually, in terms of the newest MLB Spring Training caps, I thought that most of them were not good enough to like much, if at all. If I remember correctly, I thought at least 20 or so of them could have been done much better than they were this time around. I believe I only liked about four to six of them enough to consider them worthy of potential use, to at least some degree. Most of them were so bad, I couldn't like them at all. And speaking as a Cards fan, the one for the Cards was not put together well, in my view.

And I've tried to keep things simpler of late since I started making requests again, as you've probably seen by now. Might I still have trouble in the future, if I continue to make team graphics-related requests periodically on the forums? Probably. But the more I can restrict such requests to just logos, I think the better off things will be, of course, for many of us, if not all of us, Eugene.

I am trying to figure out how to end my current chapter by my birthday next Tuesday, but I haven't been able to do so just yet, unfortunately. Hopefully, though, I'll have found a way, and been able to write a way into the story that will set up chapter eight reasonably well, of course. Lord willing, that is, you know.

I can design a logo, jersey or cap very well, I just can't do them the way I would like them done... that's why I need low, Lawn Loaf, txranger, knuckler and others to do them for me... when you post on the OOTP Forums, just keep it simple... use as few words as possible... don't ramble like you have been known to do... don't make complicated requests... and don't post too many threads.
And make sure you don't unintentionally offend people with negative posts.
Keep it simple and uncomplicated and you will be OK.

With the Swallowtails, I tried to use a blend of Reds and Indians-related colors, mostly Reds-related ones, seeing as later on, the Ohio Swallowtails are going to become the Reds later on in the applicable dynasty. While with the Pennsylvania Keystoners, i tried to use a blend of colors often seen on Philadelphia and Pittsburgh-based teams' items, mostly Philadelphia ones, for they will later become the Philadelphia Athletics in the same dynasty.

I have the exact color coordinates written down for both teams, if you're interested in knowing them, and I can mention the fonts used for them, later, if you want me to. Just write the words, and I'll provide the color coordinates and the font names, et cetera, if you want or need them and you don't already have the fonts in question, Eugene.

Hopefully this weekend, I'll be able to do at least a little writing for my current chapter, but we'll see. Just finished the 1872 season in one of my dynasties, and it wasn't a positive ending, unfortunately, for my team in that dynasty. We made it to the championship series, but our opponent was too tough, and we gave away too many runs, mostly through too many errors, wild pitches, and passed balls, it seems. We were swept by a team with more wins in the regular season, but I was still hoping we'd be able to win at least one game in the series, seeing as we had led in at least two of the four games in the series. But errors, wild pitches, passed balls, and poor hitting will often cause a team to lose, you know.

Some possible new uniforms for the Gesnosir Oracles I just made on my 47th birthday during this particular morning, Eugene. Will probably need to work on them more, of course, along the way, and probably will have to make at least one cap for this team as well, obviously. But here they are, with related color codes/coordinates and font identification, just the same. Hope you like them at least a little, but if you don't, then so be it.

Oracles jerseys are OK.
But I don't care for the font at all... a traditional-looking font would be much better.

I think they would look better without the Black color.
Dark Blue, Light Blue and Tan go together fairly well.
The Jerseys look better without the Black in my estimation.
I personally would use White instead of the Tan.

Get the pun, Eugene? Used a Jewish style font seeing as the Israelites were originally the first to have the oracles of God, as the Word mentions at least once, if not more than once, in it. Specifically in Romans 3, at least, referring to them as the Jews, for sure. Think the font fits, especially since Gesnosir is in my fictional nation of Alsapse, which I will model at least partly on Israel, if not entirely, most likely, for at least a few of my stories and/or dynasties, et cetera. Think I just saw the first no-hitter I have been at least a partial part of, if not a complete part of, since beginning to play OOTP, Eugene, but not entirely sure about that. This post and at least one other should show the box score and game log and a few other shots related to the game in question for Major League Baseball in my Turtle Pilgrim 001 dynasty. With it still being 1876 in-game, the errors were probably unable to be avoided, of course, but it was still an interesting game to watch, for sure. CD out.

As for the teams in my Turtle Pilgrim 001 dynasty, in terms of the teams in the American Baseball Federation and/or Columbian Interstate Baseball Association, most of the related items for them were made by low, if memory serves me correctly. As for teams in that dynasty's version of MLB, I'm using certain items already made by others for them, where possible and all. Same thing for certain teams in its version of the North American Baseball Association, as well, of course.

I have downloaded at least two more parks for use or potential use in any number of my dynasties, et cetera, as well. And I'll probably download more as time permits and all, fo course, Eugene.

My story's seventh chapter is not yet complete, but I'm hoping to finish it very soon, it at all possible, and if the Lord wills it to be possible for me to be able to do so. Am also trying to set up the next chapter so that it flows better between chapters seven and eight, but haven't yet been able to finish the last currently-planned scene for it, to be sure. Hopefully, I'll have it done by no later than Thursday, at the most. We'll have to see how things go with it, however, you know.

I enlarged the screenshots you posted and could see secondary logos and jerseys and caps for New York and St. Louis.

They were all well done.

I'm sure they were done by someone else... or were included as the game default logos and jerseys... the players are the pitcher Hurtado and the batter Carlin... in the upper left is the line score with the Cardinal on a bat and the NY for the Giants.
